Take today for example. I went to school. I actually get there a little early. So I get ready to leave my car, in order to catch a bus to campus. My list of things to do as I get ready to leave are as follows: 1) Turn off radio 2) Turn off heater 3) Turn off car 4) Put keys in purse 5) Double check, keys are in purse 6) Grab back pack 7) Get out/lock door-wait keys are in purse right? yes, okay get out. Well, my morning didn’t go quite like that. The step that I messed up on was number 6. (Mom- I bet you thought I locked my keys in the car again huh?) On account of the fact my back pack wasn’t in my car. It was at home. I was in Ogden, home was in Syracuse. This could be a problem.

If I drove home then I’d miss class. And possibly be late for my next class, the class where I have a professor with a strict no tardiness policy. (I pray for the day when he’s late, because then I would say something along the lines of “This class starts at 10 every morning, we’re ready. You’re not. Maybe you should think about dropping this class”) But I also required a few items in my backpack for the no tardiness allowed class. To shorten this up a bit, I ended up skipping my first class to go buy the supplies I would need for my second class. I figured I can’t understand anything that professor says, so I’ll just have to learn it from the text anyways. (Oh I should mention first class is Physiology, and second class is Visual Arts)

Well I got home at the end of the day, none the worse for wear. (Except some fish-tailing on the free way, and a full out doughnut in the middle of the road. That was fun- and it was NOT on purpose) In fact I was feeling pretty good.

Okay well this is getting a lot longer than I intended it to be so I’ll just mention the other reason why I want a remembrall. I’ve lost a very important notebook. It has all the notes I’ve taken for this semester, not to mention an assignment that is due on Wednesday. I really need to remembr where I could’ve possibly left that darn thing.

Oh to see another case of someone who wishes Harry Potter was real look up ‘Harry Potter intervention” on youtube. You’ll laugh your socks off, and feel the sudden urge to purchase a swiffer wet jet.

Ok well I just started my second semester of college, and so far so good. I’m taking Zoology 2200, Chemistry 1010-online, and a visual arts class, which I have mixed feelings about. Mixed because on the one hand I love art. So learning about it is awesome. On the other hand my professor is a little on the strange side, and not in a good way. He is the typical artsy, nose-in the air aspiring artist. No offense to the many artists I know that don’t fit that stereo type. This professor has an unusual annoyance with students who walk in late. In the other classes I’ve taken, professors just don’t give a darn whether or not you’re there, on time or not. He doesn’t care if I’m there either, but throws a hissy fit if someone (usually me) walks in 3 min late. Ok enough of that.

Work is going well, I got a promotion to med-aide about a month ago. So along with a pay increase, I also am considered a supervisor on the floor when I work in that capacity. That’s cool, kinda. It’s been making me rethink my goal of becoming a nurse though. I know I want to stay in the medical profession, but I’m not sure if nursing is the right place for me. What I enjoy most about the idea of nursing is patient interaction, and then getting to deal with cool wounds. On the other hand I can’t stand the idea of handing out pills for the rest of my life. Too many things can go wrong, and I’m a little scatterbrained so, I’m not sure how this is going to work out.

Pretty much any free time I have during the day I work on homework. And any night that I’m not at work I see this awesome guy I’ve been dating for about a month now. He really is amazing, and I still can’t believe sometimes that he likes being with me as much as I like being with him- as far as I can tell at least.

Ok, well I think that will conclude this foray into the blogging world. I need to get to work!

Ok, school. I’m not doing as well as I’d like, but then I guess it was a little unrealistic to expect all A’s every test, and every assignment, and even the teacher coming up to me after class saying something like “Well done, you are perhaps the brightest student I have had the pleasure of teaching.” That would have been in a British accent too. I haven’t decided if the professor is old and scholarly, or young and hunky. Maybe two separate professors would say something to that effect then I would be able to incorporate both versions into my imaginings. Yes, I believe I like that scenario.

Anyways, so school. Not terrible, but not great either. I’m not going to tell you any actual grades as of yet, since nothing is final, and so there is still hope for the whole A possibility. Not the professor one though, since none of my professors are British.

Work is good, the new hire training that my brother mentioned never happened, since I had to call in sick that night. But I’m all healthy now. Except for my whole malnutrition issues, according to the nutrition assignment I’m working on. The days I evaluated where actually abnormal, so usually I eat pretty healthy, but there’s always room for improvement. Wow I’m getting sidetracked a lot with this blog. I apologize. Kinda. Oh yeah, work. This week I’ll be attending an Alzheimer’s training session. Which means I’ll be getting paid to sit there and just listen, not mention I’ll get fed. Sounds good to me. I guess that’s why I’m doing it. Maybe I can get some of those glasses that make it look like my eyes are open to avoid the whole listening thing. That would be awesome.
Socially, I guess I should mention I went on a date last night. It was pretty fun, at least on my end. I’m not sure if he enjoyed himself, in fact I’m a little nervous about that. But I guess I’ll find out if he calls me again. Oh, what we did. We went to see the Bee movie with Jerry Seinfield, very cute by the way. Then we came back to my house and played some games. Star Wars Stratego and Mastermind to be exact. I pretty much creamed him at Stratego, but was on the creaming end in Mastermind. It was a little embarrassing. But I had fun, so keep fingers crossed for a call back.

Well that’s about it. My life pretty much only includes work, school, more work, and the occasional social outing. Then more school. Life is sweet.

First. She works a lot. She was allegedly hired to work three nights a week but then three people quit. Now she works about a million hours a week. I rarely see her but the last time I did, she was alive. She seems to be doing well at her job. So well that she was supposed to be training a new hire this week. I guess they like her. That’s probably good.

Speaking of being alive. She’s sick right now so she’s almost dead. Not really. She is sick though. My wife, Holly got our son, Alex sick. He then passed it to everybody, Chelsea included. I guess that her basement retreat doesn’t provide immunity from the germs of a 3-year-old. Holly was the outbreak monkey though so maybe it’s her germs that got us all sick. She has twenty-something germs. They are more sneaky.

Next on my list of what to blog about is school. School is going great for me. Wait. This isn’t my blog. I think that Chelsea goes to school but I have no verification of this because I work during the day when she’s allegedly in class. I do see her study so I assume that it’s for classes that she is enrolled in. She’s got some pretty tough stuff to learn so all of that studying she does should be coming in handy.

Chelsea has had a first recently: Holly sent her grocery shopping all by herself. Considering she’s never had to buy groceries for a family of six, she did pretty well. I think that she learned that small children are capable of eating their body weight in cereal within about twenty minutes. That’s good information to have.

I wonder how long it will be before she notices that her blog was updated by someone other than her?

So let’s see…school is going well, I haven’t gotten kicked out or seriously hurt or anything like that, so I consider myself hunky-dory. My Microbiology Professor is a little wacky. He gets really animated and excited when he starts to discuss different diseases that are caused by the microscopic world of germs. Today he went on for a little while about Ecoli. Very fascinating. I always like hearing about diseases that are transfered through cow feces.

I was actually able to feel my brain stop working in my Anatomy Lab. I’m serious, I was just sitting there listening to the instructor explain the various landmarks on the Ethmoid bone, and it hit me. Total brain shutdown, information overload, yoo-hoo?-nobody’s home, good bye. Except I was still conscious. If my brain really shut down I would have resembled a carrot or potato. Instead of the tomato that I resemble after I get sunburned. Anyways… I was the dutiful student and continued to listen, but if you asked me right now if I could tell you the difference between the Foramen magnum and the Styloid process, well I could tell you right now since I had to look up some complicated names to type- I couldn’t remember any, but that’s besides the point. The point is, my brain no work so good.

As long as I study for about 6 hours a day- maybe just 4 on Sundays- I think I’ll be fine.

Like that’s going to happen. I have to have my goofing off time, not to mention I have to work every once in a while.

Speaking of work, everything is going well. I still enjoy my co-workers, except for one of them- and it’s not that bad. Just mild irritation whenever she opens her mouth. But this isn’t the time or place to discuss such matters. I leave that to when I get home, find my brother on the couch and decide it’s about time to release some frustration. Since he was barely conscience I figured he probably wouldn’t remember much anyways.

But in all honesty I find my work fulfilling and interesting, and even enjoyable as long as there are no bodily by-products involved.

Ok well I need to get back to my 6 hour study schedule.

This is partly do to the fact I think I may be getting sick. Either that or allergies, which I’ve never suffered from before, so I don’t know why I should start now. Unless it has something to do with my new living arrangements. Maybe I’m allergic to the dogs, or the kids. Why there’s not to much I could do to test the theory about the kids, I could work on the dog one. My idea is to shave both dogs completely bald and see if the sneezing, and runny nose, and burning eyes stop. If it doesn’t, oh well. Just revenge for my brother undermining my authority over my own blog.

Seriously does it say ‘Jeremiah’s blog thingy’ at the top? I don’t think so.

Anyways back to the crazy fun that was had with Anna. After a short game of phone tag, I have troubles with keeping my phone nearby so I can hear it ring and thereby answer it, we met up at Olive Garden for a wonderful lunch where we discussed some of the deepest mysteries of the universe. Boys, school, our girlish figures, boys, the future, and more boys. Actually I’m probably exaggerating the amount of time we spent on the topic of the male gender, but it was just typical girl chit chat.

Then we returned to her grandfathers house for a nice afternoon of watching America’s Next Top Model, and commenting on who we thought was pretty, and who was just plain catty. We returned to Olive Garden for dinner, her grandfathers choice, you can never have too many bread-sticks. The next day we did nails and had ourselves a grand old time.

The best part was getting to spend some one-on-one time with my all time favorite chica, Anna.

I figured that since it’s been a while since she last posted that I’d give you an update. Chelsea has been very busy lately with work and getting ready for school. She’s in the process of purchasing books and seems to be very excited about starting the semester in a week.

Work seems to be going well for her. She comes home at night and tells the most horrifying stories. I can’t repeat them though. Don’t ask her to tell you unless you want many sleepless nights.

Chelsea and her sister-in-law Holly have also been watching the movie Scarlett which is the follow-up to the epic film Gone With The Wind. At seven hours long, it’s a bit much for me but it’s about 34.216 hours shorter than Gone With The Wind which is good for mankind everywhere.

She’s having a bit of comic book withdrawal so if anybody wants to get her some Batman comics, I’m sure she’d appreciate it.

So I sat down on a bench and started listening to the speakers (I had gotten there late, so I missed the sacrament). The first thing that came to mind was the fact that since there are fewer ward members, that means the selection for speakers will be fewer, therefore increasing my chances of being chosen to gift the congregation with my incredible intelligence and spirituality more than once a year. Hmm… this could be a bad thing. And then in the back of my mind I started thinking about how I would begin these talks, and there was much wit being thrown about in my mind for approximately 5-6 min. then I realized I should probably be paying attention to the speakers. I had only minimal mind wandering after that.

But I guess I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it, and burn it behind me. (Can anyone guess the allusion? If anyone guesses correctly I’ll tell a really cool story on how that play got me a 5 on my AP English Lit test).Oh, the bridge being the necessity to speak publicly.

Then I attended Sunday school, where I actually commented and shared my opinion on a few matters of utmost importance. (My earliest memory: watching cartoons on my mom’s bed, and sneaking into my older brothers room to steal  quarters from his money jar-Ryan’s room not Jer’s, I would never steal from Jer-unless it included chocolate chip cookies)  Then in Relief Society I was asked to play the piano, and did tolerably well, considering I haven’t practiced in over a year.

Overall I think I’m going to enjoy my time in this singles ward, and hopefully make new friends. Wow, if that isn’t a a good moralistic happily ever after ending for a post, I don’t what is.

I also registered to vote on the same day I got my library card. I’m set for the whole responsible lifestyle thing.

For presents I got some cute clothes from my mother, and my brother and sister-in-law got me The Batman: Season 3 on DVD. Then my mother also sent me some beautiful flowers at work, which was a very sneaky way of making sure everybody at work knew it was my birthday. I loved it.

Since I had to work on my birthday my sister-in-law, Holly, baked me a delicious cake the night before. And my niece, Emma, made me a music maker and a card, and we had a very nice little shindig. Although my brother would tell you the best part of the night were the trick candles Holly snuck onto the cake, my opinion differs. It was very disconcerting to watch the candles pop back to life after I had blown them out. Over all, it was a very nice birthday.
