Well. I just received a call from Apple Village.  And good news is, I have a job. Bad news is, I can’t go slackn’ off anymore. I’m a very good slacker when I put my mind to it.
So I’m going in on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for training- my first real shift will be on [...]

A Little Taste of How My Week Was…

Posted on July 27, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea, Jobs |

Wow, the past week has been surprisingly busy. Compared to the endless monotony my summer has been previous to my move, my week has just zipped along like a happy little zippy-thing.
I began this week by applying to numerous jobs. Nothing new there. But on Wednesday I got a call back from Apple Village. I [...]

My New Home

Posted on July 22, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea, Family |

So my move back to Utah is now official. I’m totally unpacked and am already planning my job route for tomorrow. Sounds simple enough, but it wasn’t such a fairy tale beginning. We set off from Colorado on Friday about 1pm. Just me, my Mom and the wide open road.
Then at about 2, the car [...]

I’m goin’ to Utah!

Posted on July 15, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea, School |

On Friday my mother and I are going to be driving out to Utah, and while mom is going back to Colorado, I won’t be. I’m moving back to Utah in order to attend Weber State University in a month or so. I’ll be moving in with my brother’s family. I’m really excited, I’ve really missed [...]

Oh Happy Day!!!

I just received my AP grades, and well, everybody reading this post should bask in my smartness. Seriously. I had certain expectations, but the actual results… WOW!
For those of you who don’t know what the AP tests are, they are advanced placement classes a student can take in high school for college credit.
So you’re probably [...]

Car Problems

Posted on July 10, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea |

Yesterday on my way home from my favorite new bookstore, Borders, my car got sick. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) I am well acquainted with this problem my little Jimmy gets from time to time. Usually in the summer, whenever I dare to use the AC. When I use the [...]

Camping with the Singles Ward…

Posted on July 4, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea |

…or not. Last night the daughter of my home teacher invited me to go with her and a bunch of other singles to the YSA campout. I wasn’t originally planning on going, but when she offered I figured well, why not? The plan was to meet a bunch of other people over at a friends [...]

Update

Posted on July 1, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea |

Nothing too exciting has happened for the past few days. But I did come to a realization on Friday night: I have visited more ‘home improvement stores’ (such as Lowes, BB&B..) than I have in my entire life. I have also cooked more meals in the past few weeks then I have in my entire [...]

“O, What a noble mind is here o’erthrown!”

Posted on June 29, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea |

Every morning now for the past 3 weeks, I have awoken to the soothing noises of construction equipment, hammering, drills, and a wierd horn that goes off every once in awhile, which my incredible detective intuition tells me has something to do with the construction workers themselves and, here’s a bit of a leap, thier [...]

Hello world!

Posted on June 23, 2007. Filed under: Chelsea |

Ok well I’m Chelsea, I just graduated from high school. I’m actively/anxiously engaged in finding myself a job. Preferably in a hospital as a CNA, but I’ll most likely end up in a long term care facility (as a CNA). Gotta start somewhere. I’m going to attend college in the fall, but where, now- that’s [...]
